Here are new versions of BYAPC (2.0) and BYAPT (3.0).
No BIG changes have been made as I have not received any complains
and olny few suggestions.
Last versions seems to work rather well altough there has been
reports about problems between TPK/BAYCOM transfers. How ever this
program is mainly intended to use with BBS (FBB), not with individual
users. It seems to be that there are some timing problems when having
direct qsos to NON BBS stations.
I have also received reports that these programs work also with
terminal program called SP. Different macros are, of course needed.
There are 2 things changed in both programs. You should keep the
old ones in save as they still are usefull ones. (In case that there
has been some kind of bug during compilation of these new ones.
Change 1:
- now BYAPC can be started with 2 parameters after program
name. They are BYAPC <capture_file_name> <format_letter>
Capture_file_name tells what is the file name of yapp
capture. Normally this is YAPP.IN.
NOTE: Drive letter and path is given in CFG-file !
Format_letter tells is capture file format Yapp(C),
(Y)app or (J)oin.
If file given in parameter string is not found BYAPC
will propt for new name as it normally does when starting
without parameters.
Also format letter will be asked in normal way in this case.
- BYAPT can also be started with 2 parameters. They are:
BYAPT <file_name_for_transmit> <description_of_file>
If file given in parameter string is not found BYAPT
will propt for new name as it normally does when starting
without parameters.
Also description will be asked in normal way in this case.
These changes are made for request to make macros more automatic: no
typing....
Change 2:
Version number has been changed :-)
Otherwise programs should be same as last versions delivered in
3RDBYAP.EXE (if I have not mixed source code.....)
Merry Xmas !
